Four days later, Shanghai, Jing'an Park.

A chubby little man with quick, lightning-like footsteps entered the family convenience store in the park. The food and drinking water in the shop had already been searched for by the others, so he went into the shop's warehouse and searched for three boxes of biscuits and half a carton of drinking water under the spare bed where the staff were sleeping.

Not many humans have survived, but food has a shelf life. Over the past few days, there was less and less to eat. When he found food and water, the fat boy rushed back and handed it to a tall, thin boy.

The boy with the bamboo pole immediately took a big sip: "Finally, I'm alive. Zhao Ziang, you said it's so hard to find food now, let's get out of Shanghai. There are too many people in Shanghai, and if we keep eating like this, we're sure to run out of food."

The little fatty ate two biscuits in one gulp, his mouth was stuffed to the brim: "I'll ...... give you less times in the future."

The bamboo boy blushed, "That's not what I meant."

"I know." Fatty took a sip of water and swallowed his biscuit, "I'm not hungry every day, you're a reservist, you're not as fit as me, I feel like I'm eating less and less every day, and I'm not hungry at all. You're doing the same thing, eating less and less. Maybe it's like Shanshan said earlier, we've gotten better since Earth came online, just like plants, there's more ways to get energy than just eating, there are many unknown ways ...... eh, is that what she said?"

The bamboo boy bristled, "How do I remember, we've been apart for days."

Little Fatty was also depressed when he thought about it, "When we're stronger later, we'll go together! See who dares to find trouble with us!"

The two men packed food and water into the rucksacks they had with them and walked further on.

Fatty: "Do you think the 'match freak' they say carries a big match and is always sneaking up on people in the middle of the night is Brother Tang?"

"I don't think so. Why would Brother Tang Mo want to sneak up on someone, he's a good guy and so good, there's no need for that."

"Well, it's definitely not Brother Tang."

The two left Jing'an Park and headed west.

The "match freak", as they call him, is currently hiding in a jewellery shop on the first floor of Nanjing Road.

The jeweller's shop faced north and the sun's rays came from the south and could not reach the shop. The match freak shrinks his body in the corner and with very light movements reaches out his hand and shines a strange object at everyone who walks by downstairs.

If you look closely you will see that this strange object is a modified binocular. The two barrels were removed, pierced through the bottom of the barrel, and a similarly sized cylinder was used to connect the two barrels in series, forming a "Z" shape. At each of the two bends in the "Z" a flat mirror was placed, thus creating a simple reflecting telescope.

The Match Freak pointed the end of his Z-shaped telescope at the pedestrians on the road, and placed the other end in front of himself. He watched each person who passed downstairs with rapt attention, and so he watched from morning to afternoon.

In the evening, a middle-aged, burly man in a black leather jacket struts down the road with a cigarette in his mouth.

The match freak put down his binoculars, quickly picked up his bag and ran down the stairs at breakneck speed, following the fat, middle-aged man.

Tang Mo hid in a dimly lit alleyway, backpacking on one shoulder, his eyes locked dead on the man's body. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. When he opened his eyes again, his pupils flashed with a light. And in his line of sight, three large words slowly floated above the man's head -

'Smugglers'

Tang Mo curled her lips and followed the man without moving.

The night was low and the man in the leather jacket, hands in his pockets, kicked open the door and walked into a speciality shop. There was already a middle-aged woman lying in the shop when suddenly the door was kicked open and the woman flinched back in fear, crashing into the merchandise counter.

"What are you looking at, get out!"

The middle-aged woman opened her mouth to say something else when the man, with a bull's-eye glare, raised his foot and kicked the woman in the stomach. The woman grunted in pain and didn't even dare to take her bag as she darted out of the shop.

The leather-jacketed burly man gave a cocky laugh and pulled himself right over the bed the woman had just made and lay down on it.

The clock ticked on the wall of the speciality shop. The leather-jacketed man closes his eyes, but in a few moments, a snore rises, loud as thunder, gradually drowning out the ticking of the clock.

In the darkness of the night, a tall, thin shadow flickered past the door of the speciality shop. The next second, a huge match fell from the sky and smashed into the burly man's right leg.

"Ka-ching-"

A crisp fracture sound was followed by the burly man's pig-killing howl.

Tang Mo didn't give his opponent a chance to catch his breath as the big matches rained down on the strong man's stomach, thighs and buttocks. The hits were on the fleshiest parts of the body, but they were painful and caught him off guard, but not so much that he died. The strong man's beer belly was so big that he could not be hit in the gut, causing him to howl in pain.

"I'll kill you!!!"

"Clatter-"

A huge table appears in front of Tang Mo as a sudden flurry of souvenir goods falls behind him.

Tang Mo swung the match and the weighty head of the match hit the table hard, instantly splitting in pieces and splattering wood chips. A glint of surprise flashed in Tang Mo's eyes and he quickened the pace of his strike. Seeing all his powers shattered by the large match, the burly man cried out in despair, clutching his head and begging for mercy.

Probably about done with the fight, Tang Mo leaned down and peeled off the burly man's leather jacket and said faintly, "This is mine, understand?"

The burly man was wearing just a jacket on top, and after being stripped naked, he held his hands to his chest and kept nodding, "Got it, got it! It's yours, it's all yours!"

Tang Mo's eyes hurt from all that white fat, so he turned away with his leather jacket.

Just after he had gone, the middle-aged woman who had just been chased away quietly walked back in. When she saw the strong man, beaten to death, she angrily threw the man out of the shop and kicked him several more times in the body and face before quickly running away, clutching her bag.

Tang Mo walks down the alley, drops his leather jacket and pulls out his book on psychic powers.

Since the first time I opened the book, Tang Mo has become accustomed to the book's bitchy mouth. This bitchy book has made it its mission to undermine Tang Mo, sometimes even to the point of cursing itself, in order to undermine Tang Mo's skin.

Tang Mo thought she was completely immune to it, but when she saw the phrase "goblin", Tang Mo's eyelids twitched and she closed the book with force, just before she raised her hand to throw it out, but fortunately she held it back again.

My Alien Power, Follow Me Follow Me Follow Me ......

Go with the nimrod! It's definitely not fucking with him!!!

Gritting his teeth, Tang Mo put the powers book away and ran lightly on his feet into a nearby unoccupied house to wait for the night to pass.

From the day he was told by The black tower that they would be ready to attack the tower in ten days, Tang Mo began to ambush them near Nanjing Road.

Of Tang Mo's six powers, only the fire-breathing and wind-breathing powers are clearly offensive. He is very short of powers.

Other people's powers may be useless, but at least they can be used indefinitely. Tang Mo's powers can often only be used once a day, so when he meets a tough opponent and has to fight for a long time, they don't work. And he's going to be playing in a tower attack game.

Four days ago, Tang Mo started using Qiao Feifei's ability to "find, find, find friends" to find stowaways on the streets.

The little girl's powers hadn't been of much use before, until this time Tang Mo realised that they were a godsend.

The only players who have awakened their psychic abilities are almost exclusively full players and stowaways. There is little to distinguish the appearance of those with powers. Tang Mo has met many players with powers, and apart from Jackass from Atak, who has a "I'm strong and I must have powers" face, the difference between regular and reserve players is minimal.

Easier to find among the exotics are the stowaways.

The stowaways are all murderers, and real ones at that, before the game officially starts.

Some murderers are so deep in hiding that they appear no different from ordinary people. But there are murderers who have a fierce look in their eyes and a fierce aura on their brow that will not go away. Tang Mo's powers can only be used once a day and he does not use them lightly. The only time he will use his powers is when he is convinced that the other person is probably a stowaway, and then he will use his powers to get a better look before deciding to take action.

Tang Mo doesn't dare to take this lightly, but he always observes them before attacking them behind their backs, and then he eats them up without paying for them, copying their powers.

Tang Mo lies in bed in this household with a slight frown on his face, contemplating where he will go tomorrow to find the stowaways.

Nanjing Road was chosen because it has the most shops and the most players passing by every day, making it the most likely place to find stowaways. Unfortunately, four consecutive days of sneak attacks have put many on alert and the nickname "Match Freak" is becoming more and more common. The number of players coming to Nanjing Road every day in search of resources is decreasing at a rate visible to the eye.

Tang Mo rubs his chin for a moment.

"It looks like there's a supermarket not far away, so why don't we just ambush there?"

The night is deep and the land of China is silent during non-gaming hours.

The next morning, Tang Mo left Nanjing Road quickly with her bag on her back and headed for the supermarket.

Three days later, a mall in Pudong.

A sturdy, mountainous foreign man emerged from the underground garage and strode out of the mall. His figure was so swarthy that every step he took shook the ground slightly. Where he walked, other players carefully avoided him. The burly blond man scratched his head helplessly and made his way east.

As he left the mall, Tang Mo, who had been hiding behind a pillar for over an hour, opened his eyes and looked at the other man.

Tang Mo waited three minutes for Jackass to leave before following quietly.

After following him for twenty minutes, Tang Mo saw Jackass walk into a factory. He walked around the old factory building and towards the barred gate of the factory, but as he was about to leave the factory, he turned his steps and stood in front of an old manhole cover near the gate. Jackass stomped on the lid and the next moment he disappeared.

Tang Mo stepped out from behind the plant and walked up to the old rusty well cover. Without hesitation, he stretched out his foot and stepped on the lid.

A loud voice immediately rang out in the back of his head.

"Ding Dong! The single-player copy game 'Kill Bill' has triggered. at 11:36pm on 30 November 2017, player Tang Mo is safely in game time."

"Sandbox loading ......"

"Data loading complete ......"

Tang Mo's body fell fast. The fall is so sudden that Tang Mo doesn't react for a moment, but he won't be caught off guard like he was last time. It feels exactly like the last time he met a giant mole, and Tang Mo holds his arms out, bracing his palms against the sides of the tunnel as best he can to stabilise himself.

After a long fall, with a thud, Tang Mo smashed into an extremely soft patch of ground.

It was dark all around, so Tang Mo pulled a torch out of his backpack and shone it around. The cave is the same as Uncle Mole's, with damp mud on all sides and more humidity than the mole's cave. Tang Mo stepped on the ground and made a clear footprint straight away. But this is not an enclosed cave. On one side of the cave, a deep, dark tunnel stretches beyond the light of the torch.

Tang Mo kept his ears alert for any movement around him while quickly checking out the cave and finally returning to the circular tunnel.

The tunnel is about one metre eight high and Tang Mo has to bend down slightly to enter it, otherwise he might get his hair wet from the damp earth above his head. After making sure that there is nothing else in the underground cave, he thinks for a moment and then carefully enters the tunnel with his torch in hand.

The deeper you go into the cave, the more moist the soil becomes, and Tang Mo keeps an eye on the movement around him.

Tang Mo's eyes tightened and he immediately switched off his torch and stood sideways against the tunnel wall.

The soil in the tunnel was so wet that Tang Mo's shoes were stained with mud. The high moisture content of the soil allowed Tang Mo to easily grab a large handful of soil from around him and, not minding the dirt, smear it all over himself, standing close to the wall, his entire body covered in mud, allowing Tang Mo to blend into the tunnel walls.

The footsteps were running closer and closer, and Tang Mo held his breath, trying hard to reduce his presence.

He couldn't see the thing that came running, but at a time like this, he wouldn't face the other man directly.

But even though Tang Mo had switched off his torch and even mudded himself into the wall of earth, the footsteps ran past Tang Mo, but only two steps forward and then back again.

Tang Mo's body tensed. He heard the footsteps stop in front of him. He pursed his lips and gradually clenched his right hand into a match-grabbing position, ready to attack.

A surprised but weak voice rang out, "My goodness, are you the colleague who was sent over to take over?"

The faintest flicker of light illuminates Tang Mo's face.

In front of him was a young foreign man with reddish-brown hair, wearing a red and white uniform (it was a uniform because it was the same as Ronald McDonald's, except that one had horizontal and one vertical stripes) and carrying an old paraffin lamp. It was dark in the tunnel when he ran over and there was no light from the paraffin lamp, but now he was carrying it in the air, bringing the light up to Tang Mo's face to see what he looked like.

At the other man's words, Tang Mo's movement to reach for a match stops. He thinks for a moment and nods in silence.

"Oh God, you couldn't have come at a worse time. Bill's gone mad! Look at all the cuts I've got on me from Bill."

"You ......"

Tang Mo's words were barely out of his mouth when a strange and frightening hissing sound suddenly came from deep within the tunnel, like the sound of a snake spitting its beaks, but something was different. This was followed by the sound of something huge hitting the tunnel.

Bang, bang, bang!

The tunnel was shaken violently by the unknown creature, as if it were an earthquake, and Tang Mo and the red-haired man's bodies swayed from side to side, holding on to the wall to keep their footing.

The red-haired man's voice was terrified, "That's the sound of that monster! It's crazy, it's all crazy!" He took three steps backwards in fear and almost sat down on the ground. At that moment, Tang Mo's face, covered with mud, flashed in his after-light, and with a flash, he shoved the paraffin lamp into Tang Mo's hand and spoke very quickly: "Companion, it's your turn to be on duty too. With that, the red-haired man turned and ran.

"Go and see what's going on, and don't let that monster out! I'll be back, I'll be back!"

The body is honest enough to run away with the words on its lips.

Tang Mo held the dim paraffin lamp and resisted the urge to call out to the other side.

A clear child's voice rang out in his head -

"Dingdong! Main quest triggered: Kill Bill in 20 minutes!"
