Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, profile image, account activity, library, comments, likes, reading activity, device and browser information, IP address, cookies, and security logs. We use this data to operate accounts, reading features, security, support, and analytics.

Tea Pass and Stripe

Stripe processes Tea Pass payments. Checkout may send Stripe your TeaNovel account identifier, email, name, billing address, chosen Tea Pass option, and transaction metadata. Stripe collects and processes payment method and tax information under its own privacy policy. TeaNovel does not store your full card number. We retain Stripe customer, checkout, payment, invoice, refund, dispute, and subscription identifiers and status needed to deliver access, prevent duplicate billing, reconcile payments, handle support, and maintain financial records.

Cookies, advertising, and analytics

Cookies keep you signed in and remember preferences. Google Analytics is used to understand site and Tea Pass usage. Google AdSense may process device, cookie, and browsing information to serve and measure advertising when ads are enabled. An active Tea Pass suppresses TeaNovel's AdSense script and ad placements, but it does not disable essential cookies or site analytics.

How we share information

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate TeaNovel, including Stripe for payments, hosting and database providers, authentication and email providers, and Google for analytics and advertising. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users, TeaNovel, or the public. We do not sell full payment card details because we do not receive or store them.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet accounting, tax, and legal obligations. Payment records may need to be retained after an account is closed. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

TeaNovel does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.

Your choices and contact
