The moment Spades answered the bell, the roar in the tavern was so loud it would have tipped the roof over.

"Hey, you guys take it easy, they're new recruits!" Alex helplessly tried to stop, "Don't dunk them on purpose!"

A nice, half-drunk soldier next to him gave Alex the OK sign while playfully pushing Alex away and turning to Bai Liu to explain the rules of the spell: "If Alex says so, how about the easiest way to spell?"

Tang Erda pulls Bai Liu's elbow, frowns and shakes her head, signalling him not to drink.

He could sense that Bai Liu wasn't much of a drinker, and once that tall glass of vodka had just gone down, the man got a bit up in the face.

Spades eyes swept over Tang Erda holding Bai Liu's elbow, he paused for a moment, then turned to the soldier explaining the rules, "What's the most complicated way to spell a drink?"

"Wow! You're a good soldier with guts!" The soldier clapped his hands excitedly, then pointed back at Spades and called out to Alex, "Alex, I did let them off the hook for your sake!"

Alex rubbed his temples with a headache and after realising he couldn't persuade Spades, he turned to Bai Liu: "Don't take their word for it, you won't be able to walk back tonight if you get drunk ......"

The big soldier tsked regretfully, " Alex, you're such a party pooper."

Spades looks levelly at Bai Liu: "Drink?"

Bai Liu tilted his head slightly, smiling: "I'll see you through."

"OK, look over here, the most complicated way to spell a drink is this." The big soldier snapped his fingers, drawing everyone's attention.

He kept pouring the contents of the bottle into a small metal bucket of ice cubes on the bar until it was overflowing.

The big soldier proudly carried the small iron barrel and shook it: "- my glorious creation, the Kiss of War, the last person who drank from it was said to have seen death."

Two men handed Bai Liu and Spades two conical goblets, fifteen centimetres in height and about four hundred millilitres in capacity, and gestured with a smile for them to put on their heads.

Spades took it without hesitation and put it on his head before staring at Bai Liu, who hesitated slightly after taking the cup, but under Spades' watchful eye, Bai Liu also quickly put it on his head and calmly looked back over.

The first soldier couldn't help but laugh at the comical look of the two men, both of whom looked exceptionally distinguished in appearance, with their glasses on top.

He laughed as he said, "The rules of the spell are this, you have to keep ladling wine from this little bucket onto the glass above your head, being careful not to spill it outside, and if you spill it outside you have to drink the whole of the glass you've ladled."

"Then after you have filled the glass on top of your own head and have not spilled a drop, the other person must drink the wine on top of your head, while in the process of doing so, neither the glass on top of his own head nor the glass on top of yours may fall, and if it does, he is responsible for drinking twice the amount of wine in the glass."

"Until the point where neither side can hold the glass over their head steady at all, the spell ends and the side with the most broken glasses is the loser."

The big soldier opened his hand, "Got it?"

Bai Liu and Spades both nod a little, their eyes going to the glasses on top of each other's heads.

The big soldier whistled and dropped the two small cups used to scoop the wine into the keg, "Game on!"

Bai Liu reached out and took the glass between two fingers, flipped his hand over and steadily poured a glass right over his head.

But to everyone's surprise, Spades didn't even bother with the little glass, he just held the sides of the keg with both hands and poured it over his head, looking straight at Bai Liu.

The cask is controlled so steadily that the overflow is drawn into a clear line of water that slides down into the glass at Spades' head, quickly passing the half-capacity line.

Tang Erda: "!!!"

Alex: "!!!"

The GIs gathered around were dumbfounded.

Can you still do that?

Without hesitation, Bai Liu reached for the keg above Spades' head and interfered with his pour.

But Spades was a full head taller than him and raised the keg over his head as Bai Liu leaned over, so that Bai Liu could not reach it even if he was pressed up against him.

After realising that Spades was deliberately using his height to overpower him, Bai Liu narrowed his eyes and rolled onto his back, propping himself up on the bar with one hand, not a drop of wine spilling from the glass above his head.

Then, when everyone thought he was going to grab the keg by virtue of his height, Bai Liu's eyes were cold as he swept his leg across his head and kicked the keg directly above his head.

Spades leans back and ducks, but Bai Liu hooks his ankle and kicks the keg he is holding up.

The liquor is scattered everywhere as the barrels flip through the air.

Everyone's eyes followed the barrel like sunflowers.

Spades drew down the whip at his back with his right hand and looped it around the lower end of the keg, tugging it back with a slight flick of his wrist as it went through the air like a slow-motion replay, taking back all the liquor that had just spilled without a drop.

The GIs looked dumbfounded - what was this operation again?!

Magical Oriental Kung Fu?

Bai Liu's eyes darkened as he drew his gun from the back of his waist and raised his hand without pausing to aim at the back of Spades' head.

"!!!" Tang Erda snapped, touching her skill gun at her waist - and it was gone.

Alex Expression blank.

The GIs' mouths were wide open and they were already looking frozen, too late to react.

Bai Liu presses his index finger down and strikes the trigger, Spades moves his body back and flips his hand to open the gun Bai Liu is aiming at him.

The gun spun and the bullet shot through the air, hitting the barrel unerringly, a hole in the bottom of the barrel and landing in Spades' left hand, a steady stream of liquor flowing through Spades' fingers.

"The barrel leaked in your hand." Bai Liu withdrew his gun, his gaze vaguely bright, his breathing slightly sharply from the movement, "I win."

Spades gazed calmly at Bai Liu: "You wanted to aim for the barrel from the start."

--targeting him was just a front, just a distraction.

Bai Liu shrugged and smiled, "Just one spell of drinking, I'm not bored enough to shoot you for something like that."

Next to Tang Erda: "......"

Alex: "......"

Spectator G.I.: "......"

And you know it was just a spell!!!

Spades, if you hadn't reacted so quickly, you would have shot you in the head!

Bai Liu looked up at Spades: "You lost."

Spades mumbled lightly, "I lost, so I'll drink."

He stepped forward to stand in front of Bai Liu, put his hands on Bai Liu's shoulders and said naturally, "Look down for a moment."

Bai Liu was quiet for a moment, but his head nodded forward.

Spades doesn't even have to be on his feet to reach the glass on top of Bai Liu's head with his lips, and Bai Liu is right up against Spades' chest and throat knot, and they are so close together that Bai Liu's breathing, which had calmed down, becomes rapid again.

--The pose is almost as if he's offering to bow his head and let Spades kiss his forehead ......

Bai Liu raises his eyes slightly as he sees the knot of Spades' throat sliding up and down as he swallows the liquor from his own head, and can feel the clear sound of Spades' heartbeat.

For some reason, the man's heartbeat was also beating a bit eerily fast.

Spades drank his own and Bai Liu's wine, wiped the corner of his mouth with his thumb and said indifferently, "More."

Bai Liu lost the second round.

Spades took a suicide attack, not caring about the glass on his head, and started to take the glass off Bai Liu's head, causing the glass to slip off his own head.

Both men drank two large glasses of vodka.

Spades was nice enough to sit down and let Bai Liu drink from his head, but Bai Liu, for some reason, preferred to hold the glass in his teeth and tilt it away from his face rather than drink from the top of Spades' head.

The third round was a draw for the two men and the spare keg was messed up, and they were scolded by an exasperated bartender and punished with three large shots of vodka for these two men.

......

Tang Erda goes from being tense at first, to helpless later on, to sitting helplessly with Alex watching the action.

"I thought it was going to be a disaster." Tang Erda sighed in fear, "Luckily it's okay."

Alex shakes his head and laughs, "I thought Bai Liu was really mad at Spades, but I didn't realise it was just a hot date."

"Guy and I would have done the same thing before, and it was nice to get it out soundly."

Alex smiled at Bai Liu, who was drinking over the head of the seated Spades, and sighed with envy: "It's so nice, only when you think the other person will love you no matter what, you dare to point a gun at them and then hug them so intimately. "

Bai Liu drops his eyes to look at the glass on top of Spades' head as he struggles to keep his limbs and head steady, lowering his head in a slow and even pace to drink from the top of Spades' head.

But Bai Liu, who has already drunk an unknown amount of wine, may not be aware of the difference between the stability he sees and the stability that exists in the world itself; to everyone else, Bai Liu is just tilting his head and letting his glass slide over his head.

Spades subconsciously reaches out to catch the glass sliding down over Bai Liu's head, and he looks up to tell the man you've lost another game, when he sees Bai Liu, eyes lost in thought, as if he doesn't even realise he's dropped his glass, and is still looking down close to him.

Bai Liu's lips pressed against Spades', and the glass above Spades' head slid to the floor.

Neither of the two men, who had been drinking almost as much, reacted and just stayed close to each other without moving, their eyes not closing.

Some people nearby took the scene as a scandalous look at these two drunks, laughing and whistling wildly.

Bai Liu blinked slowly as he realised that instead of holding Spades' shoulders, his hands had somehow become cupped around his face.

He pulled away, opened his mouth as if to say something, and what finally came out was, "I wasn't trying to kiss you."

"Oh." Spades looked up at Bai Liu, he watched him intently, "You're turning red again, Bai Liu ."

Bai Liu wanted to say it was because he was drunk, but admitting to being drunk in a game of Scrabble was inexplicably upsetting, so he said, "- I just turn red sometimes."

Spades looks at Bai Liu: "When?"

"Was it kissing me, being close to me, or when I told someone I had a special relationship with you?"

He simply listed the instances in which Bai Liu turned red, but after doing so, Spades said, as an afterthought, " Bai Liu, you only turn red when you're with me."

"Why?" Spades approached Bai Liu with a calm expression, his breath hot and slightly drunk, as he persistently asked, "-because we have a special relationship?"

"No." Bai Liu paused, and he said calmly, "It's because I hate you."

"I turn red when I get close to people I hate."

Spades reacted for a moment, "You only turn red when you're near me."

"Are you the only one who hates me?"

Spades pressed on relentlessly.

The Reverse God tells him that the emotions that people like and dislike are limited and complex.

People generally hate and like many people at the same time, but these emotions are usually short-lived. When a person hates or likes only one person for a long time, the person will exhaust the "emotional stock" of likes and dislikes.

This is the time when like turns to love and hate turns to hate.

Love and hate, says the Reverse God, are the most extreme and insane of human desires, difficult to change and deeply rooted.

Spades Buming didn't understand why Bai Liu hated him, but he felt that, at least, Bai Liu wouldn't be the only one who hated him.

Bai Liu's "dislike" of him can then be changed.

Bai Liu, his eyes drooping, hiding all the emotion in them, touches Spades' eyes and says very, very softly, his voice darkened by the liquor.

"Yes, of all people, I only hate you."

But of all the monsters, I love only you.
