After Tang Erda lowered her gun, under Bai Liu's gaze, Liu Jiayi unhappily retrieved her poison before turning to Bai Liu: "I've gathered a group of stragglers to come over and prepare to dig up god-tier NPCs."

"Are you sure of the location?" Bai Liu scanned Liu Jiayi.

"Not a hundred percent, maybe eighty or ninety percent." Liu Jiayi said, "According to the information you told me, I've marked the places in the flower fields, but there's a very serious problem -"

Liu Jiayi looked around, spreading his hands: "What are you going to do with these Rose Factory employees who are stopping us?"

But now that the commotion has stopped and the factory is being massively damaged by Bai Liu's group, the flower-pickers and processors from the factory, with their eyes averted, form a circle, holding various steel instruments or flower-picking pliers, and approach Bai Liu and his group where they are standing. They moved closer to where Bai Liu and his group were standing.

Bai Liu looks around the week and as more processors wake up to work, the number of people surrounding them grows, forming a dense circle.

Qi Yifang held the weathervane alertly, Liu Jiayi took out the poison again, and the two of them, driven by their long-standing sense of cooperation, reflexively turned their backs and patrolled their surroundings.

"This group of staff npc's are not very powerful, it's not difficult to deal with." Qi Yifang gave a bitter laugh, "But there are too many of them, and they are likely to be transformed into monsters catalyzed by the fierce battle, it won't be good for us to follow up if we make enemies with them on such a large scale ...... if the hate value is locked."

Liu Jiayi looked up at Bai Liu: "My point is the same, but just a reminder, you're going to have to deal with the staff guarding the flower fields before you can dig that thing up, otherwise there's no fun."

"But with a few of us, there's no way we can handle so much ......" Qi Yifang couldn't resist saying more.

Bai Liu thought for a moment, then suddenly turned to Tang Erda, who had not said a word, and asked seriously, "Can you handle it?"

When Tang Erda was suddenly cued, he was stunned for a moment and didn't answer immediately, but Bai Liu continued to stare at him calmly, without moving his eyes.

Under Bai Liu's level gaze, which was free of suspicion and scrutiny and could be described as wholeheartedly trusting, Tang Erda did not last long, averting his gaze with some embarrassment and averting his face, opening his mouth as if to answer, but in the end not saying a word.

...... is so strange, so many world lines, he and Bai six have looked at each other in all sorts of gestures, angry, teasing, life and death fights, hate -

-- the only thing that is not the case.

Bai Liu actually ...... wasn't worried at all about him getting him killed and seemed to be giving him the rear of the town without hesitation - it would be a very simple matter to punk Bai Liu if Tang Erda deliberately dropped the ball in the rear.

This gives Tang Erda, who has always wanted to kill Bai Liu, a sense of absurdity at Bai Liu personally sticking his neck in his hands and politely asking him to kill himself.

The target that had been pursued became accessible in a bizarre way, but Tang Erda suddenly ...... lost her desire to kill.

To be honest, Tang Erda now finds it rather disgusting, Bai Liu this kind of ...... in short is very subtle look.

Although the circle was shrinking, Bai Liu was in no hurry at all, he stepped forward and approached Tang Erda, looking at her with that close look in his eyes and asking again in an increasingly gentle tone, " Captain Tang, can you handle so many people, alone?"

-- as if they were worried that he might be dangerous fighting alone.

Tang Erda got goose bumps and took a big step back uncomfortably, his whole face turned away from Bai Liu, pushing him away and quickly replied, "I can handle all these people by myself!"

Bai Liu leaned forward with a grin on his back and continued to approach, "Really? Can I trouble Captain Tang then?"

Tang Erda finally gave Bai Liu a serious reprimand, "Stand still! Talk properly!"

--If he can't see that this Bai Liu guy is trying to be mean and disgusting, he's out of his mind!

Bai Liu obediently stood up straighter, and collected the gentle and excessive smile on his face, becoming calm as he calmly gave the order, " Captain Tang, stay here and hold off these NPCs, Liu Jiayi and Qi Yifang will come with me to the flower field, any questions?"

Liu Jiayi nodded.

Under Bai Liu's questioning eyes, Qi Yifang involuntarily said back to Bai Liu, "I'm fine with it too."

Then after he replied to Bai Liu, Qi Yifang thought something was wrong and he realized - wait, that's not right, what did I say yes to, what is it to me? Why am I suddenly working with you?

I'm in the King's Guild, your rival camp!

No, Qi Yifang frowned, noticing something wrong - so did the hunters! Then why was Bai Liu just ordering the hunters around too?

After thinking about it for a few seconds, Qi Yifang finally found the crux of the matter - how does this one make it so natural to call up the enemy camp?

But Bai Liu didn't leave Qi Yifang much time to think about what was wrong. After giving the order, he pulled out his whip and shook it in a zigzag pattern, sweeping down a piece of staff in front of them and clearing a direct path to the front door before Bai Liu took the lead and ran through.

"Move!" Liu Jiayi turned to Qi Yifang and shouted.

Bai Liu's sweeping move has steadily drawn the hatred of a large number of NPCs, so if he doesn't leave, he will be a target. Qi Yifang held back his words of defence and followed without tears.

What the hell kind of person is this!

The attacked npc's anger level was raised and they were about to chase Bai Liu out of the gate when Tang Erda, with a steady look in her eyes, drew her silver revolver from her waist and held an arm across the crowd.

His eyes were still stained with blood that he hadn't had time to wipe clean, and his dark blue eyes were inexplicably bleak as his hands moved extremely quickly to replace the bullets.

Flinging open the revolver, filling it with bullets, closing the magazine and turning it to cock it, the silver casing landed at his bloodied feet, bouncing twice in the flickering sunlight.

Tang Erda stands alone in front of a bustling doorway, stared at by the hateful eyes of all.

In the black mass of madness and the scattered, post-processing, discarded remains of the rose, the hunter raised his gun unmoved and flat.

The rampant staff, which was already crazy about the rose, reflected in the hunter's eyes in a light as wicked as black flames.

Tang Erda adjusted her stance and slightly deflected the revolver in her hand, facilitating the jamming of her finger into the trigger, the silvery exterior of the gun rendering a bright circle of light around the outside of Tang Erda's deep blue pupils, illuminating the over-bloomed, dying rose in the centre of them.

"Kill the thief who stole the rose!"

"Kill the criminal who destroyed the rose!"

"Kill the murderer who killed Rose!"

"Kill Bai Liu!"

The pursuing employees screamed mournfully as they threw back their heads, cracking the lines on their skin in the fragrant rose-coloured aroma and turning into a monster that had lost its humanity.

"What's with the screaming? Bai Liu killed my rose too, and I wanted to kill him more than any of you." Tang Erda whispered to himself as he exhaled a foul breath.

But the next moment, without hesitation, he pulled the trigger in his hand, and with a relieved smile on his face, Tang Erda looked up with a look of unshakable determination: "But until I actually find evidence to convict him-"

"- I will not allow any man, or monster, to kill him before I do!"

"Bang-!"

The silver casing landed with a crisp, unmistakable thud.

Bai Liu stepped on a rose in a field of flowers and glanced back at the distant factory a moment after hearing the gunshot, a thin smile on her face.

Qi Yifang's eyes widened slightly in disbelief, "What's going on?! Why are the hunters really working for you guys?!"

"Charisma." Bai Liu first returned Qi Yifang's comment with a serious smile, "I charmed him out of his mind, and he willingly worked for me."

Bai Liu lifted his eyes and gave Qi Yifang a smirking look, "If you don't do a good job for me, I'll have to charm your soul away too."

Qi Yifang: "?????"

Bai Liu saw Qi Yifang darting away from his view, becoming a small dot, and then heard Qi Yifang screaming, "My body and mind are reserved for the Queen of Hearts! Don't come any closer!!!"

Liu Jiayi: "...... == Don't tease Qi Yifang, he'll really believe it, he was so enthralled by Hearts that he trained himself to be in the King's Guild."

The flower pickers, most of whom had been drawn to the factory because of this morning's commotion, are now surrounded by Tang Erda on her own.

There are not many flower pickers on the flower fields and they are much easier to handle.

After tying the flower-pickers aside, Liu Jiayi patted the dust off his hands and let in the stragglers who had been afraid to enter, then after showing them the exact coordinates, the vast excavation began.

Liu Jiayi and Bai Liu also helped with the digging and Qi Yifang used the wind to help roll away the roots and soil from the roses, the digging was completed faster than they thought, but soon a change occurred.

Some of the stragglers, as if they were under the influence of something during the digging, alienated uncontrollably and began to go mad.

After rehabilitating the straggler with rose perfume, Liu Jiayi and Bai Liu looked at each other and they both understood what had happened.

-- Liu Jiayi's speculation was correct, they had dug close to where Tavel's body was buried and that's why the stragglers were affected and began to alienate.

Standing up covered in mud, Bai Liu clapped his hands to attract the attention of the stragglers who were helping him dig and said, "Attention everyone, if any stragglers become alienated during the digging process, please let me know in good time so I can do the rest of the digging."

"I won't be too affected." Bai Liu faintly thanked the stragglers who had come to help and dug themselves into a dirty mess, "This should really be considered a personal matter for me, just let me do the rest myself, please."

Whenever a straggler alienated somewhere in the flower field, the stragglers in that area would stop digging as Bai Liu had told them to do, and soon only Bai Liu and Liu Jiayi were left digging on their knees in the entire field.

But when Liu Jiayi couldn't help but shake for the third time, Bai Liu held Liu Jiayi back and stopped her from trying to help dig further: "That's enough."

Bai Liu looked over at Liu Jiayi and smiled, "You've been affected enough to help me here, I'll do the rest myself."

"But ......" Liu Jiayi bit her lower lip as she lifted her small, digging, dirty face to meet Bai Liu's for a moment, as if she was still trying to hold on.

Bai Liu patted her head, smiled with a quirked eyebrow and thanked her very seriously, "You've been great, but you've got to let me, as an adult, have something to beat you at, right?"

"Don't worry too much about me." Bai Liu whispered close to Liu Jiayi's ear, "It won't hurt me."

Liu Jiayi was silent for a moment before she staggered to her feet and was pulled up into the excavated pit by the stragglers and a nervous Qi Yifang.

In the whole field of flowers, Bai Liu was left alone, without a word, kneeling on the wretched and messy muddy field, digging into the ground by himself.

Those stragglers who came to help did not leave after they had done what they could do, and although Bai Liu said it was his private business, the stragglers continued to stand silently at the edge watching Bai Liu dig down alone, keeping an unspoilt distance.

Liu Jiayi also stands at this edge, watching in awe as Bai Liu lowers his eyes, adjusts his breathing and digs carefully, one at a time.

The expression on Bai Liu's face made Liu Jiayi a little lost in thought.

She had never seen Bai Liu like this before, no longer lazy and indifferent to anything, able to play everything off, but serious and focused to the point where she felt a little strange.

During the previous rescue of Bai Liu, Liu Jiayi realised that they knew nothing about this Bai Liu guy.

At the time she thought, "Bai Liu, this guy is so smart, he's got them all figured out, he doesn't reveal anything to them, and he has a thousand masks to deal with them for one person.

And until this moment, Liu Jiayi suddenly had the feeling of having touched the self that Bai Liu had hidden away.

--Bai Liu, alone, alone, covered in mud, approaching another person buried in the ground.

There was no one to help him, no one to come near him.

All could only be voluntary or passive spectators of Bai Liu, standing some distance away from him behind the safety line, watching him calmly, doggedly, approaching the monster underground alone.

During the ten minutes that Liu Jiayi was lost in thought, Bai Liu seemed to have unearthed something, and the crowd of onlookers burst into a clamour of excitement, which brought Liu Jiayi back to his senses and he peered into the pit.

Liu Jiayi was relieved when Bai Liu dug out a snow-white, knuckled right hand - good thing she hadn't guessed wrong.

Just as she was about to ask Bai Liu to throw something up before she was too mentally affected, a gesture from Bai Liu suddenly stopped her in her tracks.

She saw Bai Liu lower her eyes, then suddenly reach out and take the right hand, clasping her fingers together.

"Finally ......" Bai Liu's breath hadn't evened out from the digging, as the mud-stained face from the digging instead showed a completely sly, like the simple mischievous grin of a fourteen year old Bai six after winning a game of "--caught you."

Liu Jiayi wondered if she was mistaken - she seemed to see the hand, buried in the rose and broken, shake Bai Liu back.
