Tan Mo asked Uncle Chan to find someone to follow Qiao Lan at night as he was worried that something might happen to her.

The two young men had been following each other for several days without any problems, and today they followed Qiao Lan to witness Qiao Lan returning home. The two of them were wandering around discussing whether they should go for a night out on the Internet tonight, but within five minutes, the young girl, who had just been sent home safely, suddenly rushed out from the hallway.

Both men were startled.

I couldn't hear what she was cursing, but I could hear the fat man saying he wanted to break the girl's legs.

The two men thought that they had recently taken so much money from Uncle Chan to protect this little girl, and after freezing, they started to chase her, and finally saw the little girl running to the road and then squatting on the ground...

Playing with your phone?

Recently Uncle Chan approached them and gave them a lot of money to take a girl home every night, they couldn't figure out what Uncle Chan was doing, but they did their job. But now, they are not sure what to do, as they see the girl crouching under a street lamp, and it is a cold night, so they don't want to catch a cold.

Finally a call to Uncle Chan.

Within ten minutes, a car arrived at speed.

Thankfully, there was no traffic on a big night.

Then they saw the car door open and the little girl looked away from the car for half a minute and finally got into the car and it went away, and Uncle Chan called them both to say it was all right.

Qiao Lan was picked up in the car and finally felt less cold as the heat slowly spread.

From the shock of just seeing Tan Mo, she has gradually calmed down, but there are still a whole lot of questions in her head.

"Tan Mo", Qiao Lan turned his head to look at Tan Mo who was wearing a shirt on top, "You and Uncle Chan, why are you here?"

She wanted to ask more, why are you here, why do you happen to be here at this time...

Tan Mo pursed his lips and eventually chose not to answer.

Uncle Chan, who was driving in front of the car, changed the subject at the right time, " Qiao Lan, why are you outside at night?

Tan Mo doesn't say Uncle Chan changes the subject, and Qiao Lan can see that both of them are avoiding their own words, so although he is curious, he doesn't press the issue.

"My second sister gave my mother 20,000 yuan some time ago, but I don't know why a thousand yuan was missing. "

"They suspect you took it?"

"Well," Qiao Lan's voice was faint, "I said I didn't take them and didn't believe them, and then Joe...my dad was going to beat me up and I ran out."

Tan Mo, hidden in the darkness, heard Qiao Lan's final words about beating her and gave Qiao Lan a sideways glance as Uncle Chan, sitting in front of him, frowned.

Qiao Lan didn't even want Tan Mo's money, so how could she take the family's money?

He had already guessed that something was not quite right at Qiao Lan's house, and now that he had heard Qiao Lan say that Qiao Lan's family was beating people up without asking any questions, he had guessed even more.

"Do you have any other children at home, besides your second sister?"

"There are two sisters and a brother."

That's it.

Uncle Chan sees this kind of family all the time, especially in rural areas.

The family has given birth to one son after another, just to have a son. The family prefers sons over daughters, and daughters are all reserved for the bride price later.

No wonder Qiao Lan's family is not too bad, yet they have to work and today they encountered this kind of thing.

Uncle Chan retracted his thoughts and asked Qiao Lan again , "Did you have any plans just now?"

"I didn't think too much about it just now, so I thought I'd find a hotel for the night and then we'll talk about it tomorrow."

"It's not safe for a young girl to stay in a hotel, especially this late at night, and it's not cheap to stay for one night, how about this, come home with us first, it's not spacious but at least it's safe."

Qiao Lan turned her head to look at Tan Mo for a moment. She had read earlier that people with AS disorder did not like to have bystanders entering their familiar territory and did not like their lives being disturbed, and as Tan Mo had been ignoring her lately, Qiao Lan was afraid that Tan Mo would be upset.

But Tan Mo stared straight ahead at the backrest, and after a long moment spoke stiffly, "You can ask Uncle Chan to take you to school tomorrow."

"No, no," Qiao Lan waved his hand, "I'll just go by myself, then... then I'm sorry."

Uncle Chan said cheerfully that he was not bothered at all, and looked at Tan Mo through the rear-view mirror with an increasingly benevolent smile.

I just called and heard that something had happened here, so I changed into a thick shirt and came out without a shirt, and now I'm starting to be stubborn, just stinky.

Tan Mo lives in an upmarket neighbourhood, either in the villa area where Tan Father lives, or in a normal garden house.

Tan Mo does not like an empty house and does not like to have outsiders over, so the house is cleaned and tidied up by Uncle Chan and Aunt Chan, who are too big to clean up.

Qiao Lan followed Uncle Chan and Tan Mo out of the car. Uncle Chan was in front of the car, flicking on the lights, and Qiao Lan held Tan Mo's wheelchair in his hand.

Tan Mo's house is on the ground floor, so it's all for convenience, and Aunt Chan was up when she heard the commotion and came out to watch.

Qiao Lan is a bit embarrassed that a tired old man can't rest after a long night.

Aunt Chan didn't feel disturbed at all. From the moment she heard Uncle Chan say he was bringing Qiao Lan back, Aunt Chan was so excited that she couldn't sleep, she heard her partner talking about the girl every day and knew she was good to Tan Mo.

I never thought I'd see it now.

Qiao Lan was taken in by an over-enthusiastic Aunt Chan and was looked up and down for a long time.

"It's one o'clock, the boy has to be up at six tomorrow morning."

Uncle Chan then realised that Qiao Lan and Tan Mo were arriving at different times, so he dragged Qiao Lan into a bedroom in a frenzy.

"LanLan Ah, this is my room, you will sleep here tonight."

"Oh," Qiao Lan froze for a moment at being called LanLan and took the pyjamas Aunt Chan gave her, "So where will you sleep."

"I'm with my partner", Aunt Chan smiles, she and Uncle Chan usually live separately because Uncle Chan snores at night, but it's not impossible for them to live together. "MoMo, go to bed too."

Qiao Lan, who happened to follow him out, heard Aunt Chan's "MoMo" and suddenly didn't feel anything about her "LanLan".

The old man's voice, MoMo, suddenly sounded a bit cute to Qiao Lan's ears.

Looking at Tan Mo, who was still staring at him with no expression, Qiao Lan suddenly had the idea to tease him and walked over with a smile on his lips, suddenly lowering his head and whispering in Tan Mo's ear.

"MoMo!"

Before he had time to react to the unusual address, Tan Mo felt the warmth of a breath that he had never felt before in his fifteen or sixteen years.

The sudden warmth felt on the tip of his extra-sensitive ear was much clearer than normal, even giving Tan Mo the illusion that Qiao Lan had actually touched him.

He turned his head quickly in an expansive manner as the girl behind him said with a smile on her face, " MoMo , go to sleep!"

Tan Mo: ......

Tan Mo sat stiffly in his wheelchair, no one saw the moment when Tan Mo was so nervous he didn't even know where to put his fingers, and when the house was quiet again, Tan Mo hesitantly reached out and touched the tip of his ear.

Fingers tremble lightly.

So hot.

The next day Qiao Lan woke up early, packed her blanket carefully, washed up and left Tan Mo's house, identified the direction and hurried to the school.

It was only when she returned to school that Qiao Lan began to think carefully about the situation.

Qiao Family is not a place to stay.

Even if the Qiao family knew that she hadn't taken the money, Qiao Lan didn't want to go back at all.

Accommodation.

The accommodation is good, Qiao Lan used to live in the hostel all the time and she has good relationships with her friends in the hostel, but the problem with the accommodation is that there is no way to continue working part-time, after all, the hostel building closes at 11pm.

I heard that the dormitory management at the Annexe is quite strict.

The money in her hand is enough as long as she doesn't spend it frivolously. She can go back to work afterwards during the summer and winter holidays, so she doesn't have to worry too much.

Now that she has decided, Qiao Lan will go to her class teacher after morning study, not to say that it is because of problems at home, but to make it easier to study.

The class teacher was very happy to hear this and trusted Qiao Lan as a good student, saying that he would do it now, but that he would not be able to live with his classmates and that he would not be able to do it in a day or two.

The former Qiao Lan wanted it, and Qiao Lan didn't like the class much, not better.

In the latter case... Qiao Lan could only ask the class teacher to be a little faster.

By the time he gets back to class, Tan Mo is already here, looking a little sleepy from his late night, handing Qiao Lan a steaming breakfast from his bag.

"...thank you", Qiao Lan said, taking the breakfast.

Qiao Lan turned her head to say something to Tan Mo, but when she met her eyes, Tan Mo suddenly turned her face away.

Qiao Lan Silly, still in the cold?

Qiao Lan sighed.

Luckily, she finally came up with a solution.

Towards the end of the afternoon, Tan Mo suddenly became nervous again and stared at the obsidian beads on his wrist for a long time before he said to Qiao Lan, "Are you going home today?"

"No," Qiao Lan said, adding after a moment's thought, "Can you take me in for another day today?"

Tan Mo pursed his lips, "I'll ask Uncle Chan to pick you up."

Qiao Lan stared at the teenager in front of him and smiled, "Okay, but it might be a little earlier today, maybe, around seven."

Seven o'clock? Why seven o'clock? Tan Mo froze but nodded.

It was 6.30, 6.50, 7.00, 7.02, when the door opened and Uncle Chan came back from picking up Qiao Lan.

Tan Mo finally took her eyes off the clock and was wondering if she should go out when there was a knock on the door of her room.

"Tan Mo , can I come in?"

The girl asked him at the door.

Tan Mo stepped back from the table and rolled his wheelchair over to open the door.

Tan Mo's body stiffened uncontrollably, only to see Qiao Lan crouch down, squatting in front of his eyes before fumbling a bank card out of his pocket.

"Tan Mo," the girl who looked up at him had a smile on her lips as she handed him the card, "This card, you can keep it for me."
