Chapter 49: The Ring

The two cups of milk tea gently collide and the little person on top makes out against the face.

"Kisses." Ye Yao said.

Lu Xun's throat rolled a few times and his heart felt like it was being gently muffled. He wanted to bury his head in Ye Yao's body and inhale his scent until he was satisfied.

Lu Xun could not do this in public, so he held out his hand to Ye Yao. He watched as Ye Yao placed his hand in his and then held him.

"Lead all the way back to the hostel?" Lu Xun said testily.

"Yeah." Ye Yao responded, "Lead all the way back to the hostel."

It was not too late and there were quite a few people on the way. Ye Yao lets Lu Xun hold his hand, taking a sip of milk tea every now and then.

It was easy to see that he was making Lu Xun happy by doing this, and Lu Xun's lips stayed curled and his voice was relaxed as he talked to him.

The other side of Lu Xun, which he did not know before, is now faintly visible.

A few girls came face to face with them and their expressions changed when they saw the hands they were holding, their eyes rounded slightly despite trying to control them.

The girls brushed past them and after a few steps Ye Yao heard them start to hold back their discussion.

"Oh my God, I'm not mistaken, they're holding hands! It's really happening!" "Friends ...... can hold hands too, right?" "What? There was a photo of them holding hands a long time ago, when they were sure they were straight.

Ye Yao looked at Lu Xun's face and saw him frowning.

"They misunderstood." Ye Yao said, "Actually, normally, seeing two males of the same age holding hands is basically enough to confirm a relationship, but you used to do this every day as a straight man, making people afraid to believe it."

"I only have three classes tomorrow afternoon." Ye Yao said softly, "Let's go shopping together tomorrow."

Lu Xun was too happy to sleep the night before when he went ring shopping with Ye Yao, and planned to spend the night checking out which shops had the best rings.

Although it is only a ring to identify the couple, not a wedding ring or an engagement ring, each of his and Ye Yao's rings is to be treasured.

Lu Xun's plan to stay up late lasted less than half an hour. After lights out, he didn't want the light to disturb Ye Yao and buried himself under the covers, but it wasn't long before the covers were lifted off him.

A long, slender hand reached out to him.

Lu Xun catches the hand and kisses it, and the one he catches shakes it, pointing to the phone.

Lu Xun tries to put his phone up and then Ye Yao takes it away from him without mercy.

"Confiscated." Ye Yao's voice whispered, "Don't always stay up late, it's not good for your health to stay awake at night. We're going to choose together, you don't have to prepare in advance alone."

Ye Yao poses Lu Xun's phone with his own and looks up at Lu Xun again.

He could not see Lu Xun's expression clearly after the lights were turned off, and he did not know whether Lu Xun was happy or unhappy that he was in charge of him.

"Have you put the phone away yet?" Lu Xun over there also asked in a whisper, and when Ye Yao replied in the affirmative, he added, "Give me your hand for a moment."

So Ye Yao put his hand out and received a kiss on the palm of his hand.

The palm of his hand was kissed hot and wet, and Lu Xun's laughing voice said, "Yes, Ye Yao has given the word, of course I'll do whatever you want."

No one speaks again, Ye Yao lies quietly.

His hand rested nicely under the covers in a vain grip, as if the warmth of the dampness still lingered in his palm.

Ye Yao pressed that hand against his own, reliving things from his past that he was in danger of overlooking.

Ye Yao has been thinking about the many and varied things they have been through together, but he can only recall images of Lu Xun being kind to him.

He does not like to put himself in possible danger or to work by luck, but prefers to keep things as much under control as possible.

Rationally he knows that too intense obsession with the relationship has a certain danger, because he did see a lot of control desire possessiveness is too strong, one party can not accept want to mention the breakup of the other party does not agree, ultimately leading to bad results of the case. As a big city, there are specialist places selling jewellery rings, and Ye Yao and the others don't have to look hard for them.

Lu Xun shows his big-money temperament at times like this, not even looking at the low priced ones, but going straight to the high priced ones and starting to look at them.

"It has to be expensive and eye-catching enough, how about a glittering pigeon's egg?"

Seeing that Lu Xun was really going to look at the row of big diamond rings, even the body of the ring was set with countless broken diamonds, Ye Yao couldn't help but spit out, "I'm blinded by so many diamonds, why don't you just have eight stars and eight diamonds?"

Ye Yao was stunned, then pushed Lu Xun back a little and whispered, "What are you doing, in public, go back and kiss again."

Lu Xun also came back to his senses and left the ring shop holding Ye Yao's ring-wearing hand. After putting on the ring and then holding hands, he holds the tiny ring at the base of his finger, which is warmed by his body heat and finally becomes one with his body heat.

"It's like a dream." Lu Xun laments.

"I feel like a dream too." Ye Yao says, "I hope it's a beautiful dream."

"It must be a beautiful dream. Whoever dares to give us Ye Yao nightmares, I will make him suffer." Lu Xun said seriously.

Ye Yao smiled and didn't say anything more. They had dinner and took a taxi back to school.

Ye Yao had been held by Lu Xun, who had slept late last night thinking about things and was now a little sleepy.

"Sleepy? Lean on my shoulder and sleep." Lu Xun whispered to him.

So Ye Yao leaned against Lu Xun's shoulder and was gently cradled by Lu Xun. It was a familiar strength and warmth to Ye Yao and it didn't take long for him to drift off to sleep.

Back in the dormitory, Ye Yao started to write his homework for the day, and Lu Xun had the rare privilege of lying on his bed instead of sitting next to him.

After finishing his homework Ye Yao thought about it and took out his phone to open the school forum which he didn't often log on to.

I saw them with the same couple ring on their ring finger!

It hasn't been long since I bought the ring and there's a post for the evening?

Ye Yao raised an eyebrow and clicked in to see when the posting was made.

The time of the posting was during the time they were in the taxi when he was asleep, and it was self-evident who the poster was.

Ye Yao click on the owner only and watch that owner stir up the storm and prove from every angle that they are already together.

The onlookers went from questioning and disbelieving at first, to somewhat believing, to mostly believing by the end, and the owner was then satisfied to retire.

Lu Xun just wanted everyone to know that they were together and didn't want to wait a moment.

Ye Yao exits the forum, washes up and goes to bed, before unsurprisingly being caught by Lu Xun, fulfilling his promise to "go back and kiss" when he bought the ring.

There were other people in the dormitory, and the kisses they shared in bed were not very intense, but rather gentle. But even so, Ye Yao, who had the heart to savor it, could taste Lu Xun's eagerness to swallow him whole.

Ye Yao touches the back of Lu Xun's head and then takes a small breath of cold air.

Lu Xun moved, pulling his tongue out of his mouth, which had just been eagerly pushed into it, and lifted his face to examine it.

"Did it bite you?" Lu Xun asked in a low voice.

Ye Yao was unharmed, but he said, "A little bit, it'll be over soon."

Lu Xun frowns as he rubs Ye Yao's lips and gives his a gentle kiss.

Ye Yao tilted his head to look at Lu Xun and heard Lu Xun tell him, "You bite back? It's okay to focus on the strength."

Ye Yao laughed as he came up to Lu Xun's face and gave him a little bite: "Well, that's even."
