A place to find your next novel
TeaNovel Discovery brings Chinese web novels from Qidian, JJWXC and Fanqie into one catalog. Explore genres and tags, browse rankings, or discover a reader’s book list. You can browse public books and lists without an account.
Where the book information comes from
Titles, author names, official summaries, covers and available book facts come from the identified source. Each novel links to its original source so you can check the book and its current availability. Authors and publishers retain their rights to their work.
English titles and summaries may be prepared with AI assistance and checked before publication. They help you understand a book; they are not an official publisher translation unless explicitly identified as one. Original names remain available as reference information. If a translation or fact is wrong, please tell us.
A completed label describes the source’s reported status. A catalog update means the information here changed; it does not necessarily mean a new chapter was released. Source counts and dates reflect the available observations and may lag behind the original site. Missing information is left unavailable rather than invented.
Understanding ratings and rankings
Rankings use published book information and source signals, with a different selection method for each list. Open the information icon beside a ranking’s title to see its method and update time. A book’s position can change as the available evidence changes.
Reader recommendations use the attitudes Recommend, Mixed and Not for me. Where a source rating contributes to a recommendation estimate, the score explanation identifies that contribution. Source participation is not presented as TeaNovel reader votes or comments. A rating is a guide to available opinions, not a guarantee you will enjoy a book.
Your shelf, lists and contributions
Sign in with an email code, Google or Discord to manage your account. Your first successful sign-in creates it. Open My account from the menu to edit your display name and photo. My books opens your reading shelf, your own lists and your saved lists in one window; My activity opens browsing history and your review activity.
Your reading shelf is private and contains books you actively mark as currently reading. Book lists can be private or public. Only you can edit your own lists. Browsing history stays in this browser and describes books you opened, not chapters you read.
Public lists, reviews and replies are checked before publication. Automated checks can refer uncertain submissions for human review. Open Submission status from your account to follow progress, revise eligible submissions or request review when that option is available. Editing a published list can leave its previous approved version visible while the changes are checked; making it private or deleting it withdraws public access.
Reading and the Legacy Archive
Discovery helps you choose a novel. The Read on TeaNovel link opens the separate TeaNovel Read homepage. It does not transfer the selected novel, your shelf or your account data. Read and original source websites have their own access requirements, features and policies.
Existing TeaNovel English translations are preserved in the read-only Legacy Archive at their historical novel and chapter addresses. This archive is separate from the source metadata catalog. Discovery does not offer new chapter text from source sites.
Help finding a book
- Search by title or author, then narrow the results by source, status, genre or tag.
- If there are no matches, try fewer filters or another spelling of the title.
- If a book disappears, it may have been withdrawn or its English information may need checking.
- If a page cannot load, retry it. Avoid submitting the same action repeatedly while it is pending.
For sign-in trouble, check your email address and spam folder, or retry the provider you selected. Never share a sign-in code with anyone, including in a support message.
